Death is The Light At Heart(update)

Death is the light at heart
For we will find ourselves in a new world
That no one in the past knows about
We are free from our pain, worries and fears
It fills everyone’s mind with wonder
What happens to us when we die?

Do we face a different fate when we get murdered?
Suicide? Accident? Or just of old age?
Or is it all the same?
When we die we die nothing more
What happens to our souls?
Do we even have souls? Or are they just made up?

We have an ongoing will to live
And we fear the day we die
But why is this so
Why is it that way?

We all will die some day
Why not embrace it?
And just enjoy the little life we do get

As we get older time speeds up
But isn’t time the same for everyone?
It just seems faster because more life is behind us
Or is it something else, something that we are not seeing

Are we all on this plane?
That takes off when we are born,
Slowly losses fuel as we live,
And then crashes into the earth when we die?
That is what it seems like

Everyone seems to fear death
But I find it funny that I don’t
The only thing I’m fearing
Is not knowing what being loved feels like
Not feeling the rain on my skin
Or seeing the sun rise in the morning
And set in the afternoon
I fear not being able to live

Why is it that we fear death?
Is it just the fact
That the world keeps spinning?
The sun continues with its rises and sets?
The tide comes and goes?
Your loved ones will move on
Just because they think that will make you happy
Or is that your loved ones will never let you go

The truth is at least for me
That I will live on in others hearts
My “soul” will be split up into everyone I know
Or is that is
We die because we manage to give away all of our soul?
